How PrettyLitter
Crystals Control Odor

Moisture Absorption: PrettyLitter is made of amorphous silica gel filled with microscopic pores. These pores absorb your cat's urine, trapping odor-causing bacteria inside the crystals. This absorption prevents odors from being released into your home.

Evaporation Process: Once the moisture is locked inside the crystals, it begins to evaporate. This keeps the litter dry to the touch and ready to absorb more moisture, extending the life of the litter. The odor-causing particles, however, remain trapped within the crystals.

Solid Waste Dehydration: The crystals also wick moisture away from solid waste, which helps it dry out and further reduce associated odors.

Pretty Plus: PrettyLitter is continually tested using ASTM Elisa standards and delivers strong performance across urine, feces, and ammonia odors especially within the first 24 hours.

PrettyLitter uses proprietary health monitoring technology to help flag some potential health issues before you may even notice symptoms in your cat.

PrettyLitter reacts to certain urinary elements such as levels of acidity and alkalinity to make color changes (including the visible presence of blood) visible to the naked eye.
